So good I had to come to leave a review! The breakfast here is the best I think I may have ever had. We all left full and raving about the food! Don’t let the small lot intimidate you from going in! It’s worth it to find a spot. Lot looked full and still we were able to walk in and get service right away. We will definitely be returning!
Really tasty breakfast. My favorite breakfast involves corned beef hash. Lakeside Cafe does corn beef well!! Plus the breads are homemade and wonderful. But…the best part is the atmosphere…the vibes here are relaxing and Peaceful. Have I Wished You Peace Today? Peace is here….enjoy.
The breakfast was very good, had country fried steak. Our server Taylor was one of the best I have ever had in Muskegon. Will be back again!
The food was good, not amazing but not bad. We ordered the stuffed hash browns since it seemed different than we would normally order and tbh I wouldn't order it again. It was nothing to write home about. The corned beef sandwich was tasty and so was the chicken salad. The floors were not the cleanest but it must've been after the lunch rush. The server forgot to give us eating utensils and salad dressing so we had to either get it ourselves.
First time here stopped before going on the lake express ferry. Great experience had eggs Benedict and it was their special and was perfect. Server Julie was very friendly. Cozy atmosphere with plenty of servers. Definitely recommend going here if in the area.
On a vacation trip we decided we wanted breakfast and saw this place. Absolute hidden gem. Our server Brie was excellent on recommendations and the food was tremendous. Even at rush hour we were able to get quick and delicious food. Will definitely be back if we're in the area.
All portions were very large with ingredients that seemed top shelf at a price that was easy to swallow. Everything tasted great, the service was prompt by the friendly staff. They were very busy but we still felt like we were getting personal attention. The only issue I could bring up was the bathroom needed some maintenance issues addressed, but still functioned. We will be back!
The place is great and always has been! The service is always wonderful and the food comes out quick. The way they've decorated the atmosphere just reminds you of being in Lakeside Muskegon which is a whole experience in itself. Lake life and old Maritime decor complete the restaurant so it has such a wonderful vibe. Not to mention the food is also excellent for breakfast lunch and dinner! They also help the community out by offering a take it or leave it free food pantry for folks that can't afford food. This is a very special thing they do and I wish more restaurants would do this. They also offered on Christmas free meals to those in need. Overall the place is a 10 out of 5 stars in my book!
Brought my mother here for a nice little dinner together. It was our first time dining in. Very cute and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was the sweetest. Very attentive in making sure we enjoyed our meal. The food was tasty. We'll definitely be back.
Stopped in here on my way back from a memorial service for my friend. Saw the reviews and had to try it! The food was amazing! I got the big breakfast with a cinny roll! So good! Also Paige was an awesome waitress! So attentive and polite! Jim 6’7” ! lol
